I’ve designed a bluetooth, rechargeable, 10DOF head-tracking device for use with the Ambisonic ToolKit (ATK), motion capture, and pan-tilt camera systems. This is the second prototype.

Lightfield Imaging with CNC plotter
I’ve repurposed my drawing machine apparatus to capture a stack of images on a grid. I co-register the images to a common viewpoint, and selectively recombine them to synthesize various viewing perspective within the image space.

Talking To Machines
A short workshop introducing speech recognition and speech synthesis techniques for the creation of interactive artwork. We use pre-compiled open-source tools (CMU Sphinx ASR, Festival TTS, Processing, Python) and focus on the demonstrable strengths and unexpected limitations of speech technologies as vehicles for creating meaning.
